Laura StanleyLaura Stanley CGA, GG, CG
Laura is Stanley’s is celebrating 20 years at Stanley’s! She is our in-house designer and remount specialist. She is a  Graduate Gemologist and Certified Gemologist; also a Certified Gemologist Appraiser and Registered Jeweler.

Laura’s been at Stanley’s since 1989; she’s here to help her customers in any and every way imaginable! She is serving her second term on the American Gem Society Board of Directors. In 2008 she joined the national board of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, and will assume a role on the JVC Executive Committee in 2010.

She has three times been a nominee for the national Women’s Jewelry Association Excellence in Retailing Award since 2000. Laura is President of Pulaski County's CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and a Director of the Better Business Bureau of Arkansas.

Bob SpectorBob Spector
Bob has spent the last decade at Stanley’s, and has become indispensable to his loyal customers. He holds the Diamond Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America, and has attended many other GIA workshops on diamonds, colored stones, and Tahitian pearls. He attends the largest gem show in the world, the Tucson International Colored Gem Show, yearly, and is your best source for unusual sapphire, diamond, ruby, or any gemstone jewelry.

Clay WorthamClay Wortham, CG, RJ
Clay is a Certified Gemologist and Registered Jeweler of the American Gem Society. Clay has been our in-house jeweler since 1995. He has a talent for repairing your jewelry, and restoring your precious antiques. He holds degrees from Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology, in Gemology and in Jewelry. He attends workshops and trade shows around the country to stay current in the latest trends and techniques in jewelry repair and fabrication.

B. J. Burks, GG, CGA
B.J. has been with Stanley’s since 2000, and recently became our third Graduate Gemologist. She has a flair for matching the right person with just the right piece of jewelry. Her expertise and insight have won her a loyal following in a short time. Let her help you with your tough purchase decisions! She completed the American Gem Society’s Certified Sales Associate program, and now holds that title. Previously, BJ owned her own boutique, specializing in rare, unusual, hard to find, and one of a kind items and antique jewelry and collectibles.

Steve StanleyStephen Loyd Stanley
Stephen Stanley, third generation jewelry lover, rejoined Stanley's in 2007. In 1998, he completed the program at Zantech Watch Repair School in Illinois. Previously trained as a gunsmith, he has a natural love for watches and jewelry detail. He will begin his GIA courses this year, and is in the store at all times to help with watch and jewelry questions and repairs.

DeWayne Hamilton
DeWayne Hamilton joined Stanley’s in 2009, but has spent 40 years of his career in customer service and retail environments. He has been in fine jewelry retailing for the last four years, and is aggressively pursuing his gemology education. He is currently Arkansas’ newest Certified Sales Associate. He is a native Arkansan, and is an oil painter and wood-carver.  He is enjoying meeting all the Stanley regulars and invites you in for a visit if you’ve never been here. He loves to work with customers creating one-of-a kind designs.
